Busy, busy, busy

This month we finished our drill to the end of the show. With drill done, we have been able to write more choreography and fill in parts. The show is finally starting to come alive and everyone is getting more and more excited for our first show at the Riverside Regional on February 21st. Our show calendar is up on the website and we hope to see everyone at our upcoming performances.

We now have our team photos up! You can find them on our website under the “About” tab in the 2014-2015 members link.

The Aztec Winter Guard organization has also received our new office in Student Life and Leadership in the Aztec Student Union here at San Diego State. Our leadership team is very excited to be able to use the new office to get behind the scenes work done such as fundraising, recruiting, and networking with other groups on campus.

These past few weeks have been intense writing our show and improving our skills. Through all this practice our team has worked together to create our motivational quote of the season, or as we call it our ‘Mo-Quo.’ We collaborated together to create “Aztec State of mind.” This inspires us to live up to our dreams as a whole, be accountable for the individual and team goals we each set, and to keep pushing forward in our season.

Our next fundraiser is a Garage Sale! Any donation items would be greatly appreciated and please stop by and support us!

  • Date: Saturday, February 28th
  • Time: 7:00am-2:00pm
  • Address: 11479 Duenda Rd., San Diego, CA 92127 (Rancho Bernardo)

As always, we are still looking for more sponsors and donations. If you are interested in helping us please don’t hesitate to donate. You can donate here on our gofundme account:
