Auditions

  • Saturday June 1st, 9 am - 6 pm & Sunday June 2nd, 9 am - 6 pm.

  • Check in begins at 8:15 am - Saturday morning.

  • Location will be in Peterson Gym 152

  • Please wear all black, form-fitting dance attire. You may also dance in indoor dance shoes or bare feet, and we ask that your hair be up out of your face.

  • Please fill out the pre-registration form prior to auditions.

  • You must print and complete the Participation Waiver below and bring with you to the audition you attend:

    • ***Important*** If you are under 18 you MUST have a parent/guardian sign this waiver in order to participate

    • How to fill out the form:

      • Activity Dates/Times: May 2024 - January 2025

  • Cost

    • There is a $40 audition fee due on the first day you attend the audition.

    • We accept cash only.

  • Lunch

    • There will be a 1 hour lunch break each day.

    • Bring your own lunch or money to purchase food in the area (Chipotle, Habit, Subway, etc.)

  • Parking Information

    • Parking is available in PS7 (see map) but requires the purchase of a permit each day

    • Cost of the parking permit is $15/day

    • Free street parking is also available around campus

 
 

Fall Guard Information

The following information will be similar to our next season:

  • Please visit our FAQs page for more information.

  • We perform at all home football games at Snapdragon Stadium as well as additional performances at SDSU and throughout San Diego.

  • If the football team qualifies for a Bowl Game, we will travel with the team and perform there as well. In the past this has been in Honolulu, Las Vegas, Austin, Boise, and more.

  • All members of the fall guard must register and pay for the Fall Marching Band Course at SDSU. Non-SDSU students must register and pay for the Fall Marching Band Global Campus Course. Amount, registration deadline, and info will be provided upon making the team.

  • Fall members will receive a $200+ stipend at the end of the season.

  • Fall members will receive warm ups and a backpack as well as additional SDSU gear (T-shirts, baseball caps, etc.).

  • Fees to march the fall guard are $250 for new members only. These fees pay for one-time expenses which members keep at the end of the season:

    • Body tight/dance belt

    • Show shoes

    • Earrings

    • Headband

    • Team Shirt

    • Team Practice Gear

    • Other Team Items

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays June 11th - August 1st 6-9p

  • Band Camp August 12th - 21st, 8 am - 5 pm

Fall Guard Rehearsal Schedule

  • August 21 - December (Exact date TBD based on Bowl Game Schedule)

    • Mondays 3:00 - 6:00 pm

    • Wednesdays 3:00 - 6:00 pm

    • Fridays 3:00 - 7:00 pm

All members are required to participate in fundraisers
