2026 - 2027 SDSU Aztec Winter Guard

Audition Information

    • General information:

      • Saturday, September 26th & Sunday, September 27th

      • 9 am - 6 pm both days

      • 8:15 am check in Saturday September 26th

      • Location: SDSU ENS 380 Dance Room

      • Please wear all black, form-fitting dance attire. You may also dance in indoor dance shoes or bare feet, and we ask that your hair be up out of your face, please bring athletic shoes for outside time.

    • Please fill out the registration form prior to auditions.

    • After filling out registration form, please complete the following Liability/Photo Release Waivers.

      • Please fill out as follow (Liability Release Form):

  • Cost

    • There is a $40 audition fee due on the first day you attend the audition.

    • We accept cash or Venmo.

  • Lunch

    • There will be a 1 hr 30 min lunch break each day.

    • Bring your own lunch or money to purchase food in the area.

  • Parking Information

    • Parking is available in PS 12 but requires the purchase of a permit each day

    • Cost of the parking permit is $15/day

    • Permits can be purchased by phone.

    • Free street parking is also available around campus

    • Fridays 5pm - 9pm

    • Saturday 9am - 6pm

    • Sunday 9am - 6pm

Guard Fees & Information

  • Please visit our FAQs page for more information.

  • We will be attending WGI Regionals, WCWG Championships, and WGASC Championships. Additional shows will be throughout Southern California and surrounding states.

  • We compete in the following circuits: Winter Guard International (WGI), and West Coast Winter Guard (WCWG), Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC) as well as additional performances at SDSU and throughout San Diego.

  • Fees are TBD. Scholarships and individual fundraisers will be announced.

  • New members who did not march the fall guard will also be required to purchase their team gear (warm ups, back pack, practice attire, SD Guard shirt, etc.).

  • SDSU students must enroll in the class for the Spring semester and non-SDSU members must register for the class through Global Campus for the Spring semester.

  • All members are required to participate in team fundraisers such as: On Camera Audiences, Restaurant Fundraisers, Holiday Gift Wrapping, Souvenir and Recruiting Booths, The Great Give, Clothing & Technology Drives, Clinic & Camp Staff, etc.
